The Apostle Paul reminds the Church in Galatians 6 verse 9:- “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” The enemy of our souls knows that if he can attack and make us weary, we cease to be a threat to his dark kingdom. But there is a time coming very soon which Paul reminds us of. “that in due season, we WILL reap!”
We can be tempted to listen to the opposition voices hearing: – “give up’ and ‘don’t bother’ – “come on – throw the towel in – where is your god?” But it is then we say NO! – we grit our teeth and carry on. Because when we don’t give up, the grit forms a diamond that is coming, like oyster eggs have a grit around them and then produce a pearl! BUT – this is the time to roll our sleeves up, call on the Holy Spirit and grit our teeth! Because it is in these moments that we know that a harvest of a great number is coming!” Amos 9 verse 13 says: – “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the ploughman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.” By having some grit, we know that there is a time coming when the harvest is so bountiful that the reaping overlaps the next season.
Therefore, Church of Impact – do not allow the lies of the enemy to weaken you to the point of quitting. We grit, because there is a bountiful harvest of souls approaching!!! Amen!! Halleuyah!!
