Jesus loves His Church. He really does! But do we as Christians, the church love Him?
A time of Great Tribulation is coming upon the whole earth, a time like no other when God will pour out His wrath on all ungodliness. There is much discussion and varying points of view, whether Jesus will ‘snatch’ His church out prior or during this ‘seven’ year period of tribulation! Most of this confusion is due to actually defining what is the ‘church’, what is a true believer? You see, over 2000 years the meaning of Church has become to mean different things to most people. The term ‘Christian’ too has become to mean different things! But to Jesus – nothing has changed! A true believer is one who loves Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. They recognise the great sacrifice and love of Jesus and want to love him and give their lives as a living sacrifice to Him! A true believer longs for the day to be with Him, as much as Jesus thinks abouts His true Church, His bride!
In the famous parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25, Jesus clearly shows us that only those whom have oil in their jars will be ready for that hour when the ‘bridegroom’ comes. Those who are serving, living, full of the Holy Spirit and anticipating that day!
Jesus is coming for His Bride – one that reciprocates the love that Jesus has for them, all on Him.
Is that you? Will you be ready? Or are you content and living your life for you?
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” – Matthew 24:37
