Jesus says in Matthew 7 :7, – “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Today, we ask ourselves, “What obstructions are in the way in seeking God and what things are stopping us from continuing to ‘knock’ the door and keep knocking harder and louder until the door opens!?” Sometimes we can hide behind our jobs, social media, hobbies, other excuses and doubts that prevent us to seek God in prayer and doing what Jesus asks. We need to persist, be dedicated and keep asking with purpose in seeking the Lord for the things of God. Let us learn to come to the place of prayer without distraction, to desire Him and call out to Him. Let us seek the Lord while He may be found and as we draw close to Him, He is waiting to draw close to us!
