The Lord has taken this Church on some journey these past years! He has been preparing the people as Living Stones for the Temple of God. And this truth, has also been outworking in the building that we meet! The building we meet was opened in 1838 as Greenbank Methodist Chapel and has gone through some significant changes. You can read more about this in the ‘History’ section of our website!
But today, we are pleased to report that we have recently installed a brand-new carpet to the sanctuary and also additionally to the new side room, office, entrance hall and to the new opened balcony area! In the book of Isaiah, the prophet says in chapter 54 verse 2:- “Enlarge the place of your tent,And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. The more space you give to God to use, He brings the growth and multiplication! We believe in our hearts, the words of the prophet Haggai, when prophesying about the Temple in Chapter 2 verse 9:- The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.
We are readying ourselves for these days. Jesus Christ is still the same. He is still setting people free, saving the lost and healing hearts, minds and the sick. Praise be to God forevermore!!!
