Today there is more confusion than ever before. There is an agenda from the devil to even make people believe that they can be anything. Even a cat! And you cannot say anything as you will be accused of ‘suppressing them’. The truth of marriage, gender, what is life and more contribute to a world of ‘anything goes.’ But nearly 2000 years ago Jesus said, as written in the gospel of John chapter 14 verse 6, “I AM the truth, the way, the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Sharp shooting truth. Let’s cut to the chase!
Jesus is truth! He is so amazing. So wonderful! Our substitute in taking the punishment of the death penalty for all our sins. That is truth! And in accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour and to follow Him, leads us to eternal life and into justice and righteousness. It’s like coming up for air when we experience the goodness of Christ!
Telling the world of this truth that is set on alternative views and style of life brings opposition. With so much confusion and darkness will the truth of Christ shine through? Can we as the Church tell people of the truth therefore bringing the hope of salvation?
The world that is convinced by the deception of satan, do not want to hear that there is a judgement to come. It is blind to the truth and cannot accept it.
Those walking with God, as were Enoch and Noah before the flood, were saved. They persevered in faith with the truth and were counted as righteous. So must the Church. To be pulled out to safety by the bridegroom – Jesus himself, we persevere preaching the truth. In the book of John, chapter 8, it says – 31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
We are His, we follow Him alone. He has set us free! This is truth.
