How is it that a person’s life can be totally transformed?
We come and give our lives to Him as we recognise Him as our Saviour and it is the beginning! The beginning of God starting a ‘transforming’ work on our lives. As we journey with Jesus we begin to change! Our old self and identity is no more – Jesus is carving a new identity and name for you! The old has gone, the new you is being shaped!!
As we pursue Him with everything we have, He is very interested in our character and wanting to ‘chisel’ every part that is not good! He changes you and is carving you into a ‘masterpiece!’ And that is not all! As we continue with Him and standing firm in our faith with Christ, we have a new name in Christ! You are a new you in Christ!!
Revelation 3: 12 concludes with these words of Jesus: – “….and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.” He just does not give us a new name, He writes the name of The Father, the New Jerusalem and a New name for Jesus! Let’s continue strong to receive these promises from our beautiful Saviour! ” We love you precious Lord!”
