As it was in the beginning….

In Acts chapter 2, we see the glorious day of Pentecost. Around 120 followers of Christ were gathered for 10 days and then after, the Holy Spirit fell on them all with tongues of fire appearing over them! Jesus had begun acquiring a ‘Church’ – people set aside to serve Him and be witnesses to the world! Now, nearly 2,000 years have followed and the ‘Church’ – His body is nearing completion.

Jesus says in the book of John, “Destroy this temple and in 3 days I will raise it up!” He most certainly did and will again! At the completion of the ‘church age’, the dead in Christ will be raised first, followed by those, whom are still on earth. The Apostle Paul continues to write in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, “Then we who are left will be ‘caught up’ with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.”

The ‘caught-up’ means to be ‘snatched’ away which is the Greek word ‘harpazo’ – where the word ‘rapture’ comes from. Christ will come and ‘snatch-away’ His bride for the whole body to be joined together as one. A single bride! A beautiful collection of ‘living stones’ of Christ finally coming together for the wedding on day 3! A beautiful complete window – praise Jesus!!

Simply beautiful.
