The book of Jeremiah opens with a profound truth – “Before i formed you in the womb i knew you, and before you were born i consecrated you”, that is ‘set apart’ for God! When you hear the call do you respond to say ” yes Lord, here i am, send me!” In looking at the life of Stephen (Acts 6-7), we see a man who gives his life to Christ. In doing so, he ‘runs his race’ that has been marked out for him being led by the Spirit to martyrdom! God calls many to live out their lives to His will and is looking for those to surrender all to Him. Many are chosen – but will you give it all up and follow Jesus?” Stephen did and will inherit eternal life!
